THE CAMPING AND THE MAGICAL SURROUNDINGS :

Camping Falterona is located in the hills of the Casentinesi Forest National Park .
​
This reserve is well known for its biodiversity of flora and fauna but not yet overrun by mass tourism.
​
We are located in the middle of a breathtaking area, at an altitude of 800m, which offers spectacular views.
The larger cities: Arezzo, Florence and Siena are nearby and can be easily reached within a day.
Curiosity: this place is on the 'green list' (the highest environmental certification for protected areas in the world) and this year it won the IUCN (International Union for the Conservation of Nature) award

ABOUT US :

We are a group of guys and friends with the most varied backgrounds: among us there are cooks, artists, gardeners, engineers, masseurs and musicians who have decided to enjoy nature and to let other people enjoy the flora and fauna of this amazing place.
​
We have been traveling and living in and out of Europe for a long time so we have come into contact with many different customs and cultures.
​
This makes us aware of the needs and habits of different customers and we want to offer the best of our culture while respecting everyone's expectations.

OUR VISION :

The underlying principle of what we do is sustainability, respect and the EXALTATION of nature.
​
Our activities (workshops, sports activities, games for children) are based on ancient traditions and want to restore the pleasure of simple, healthy and constructive things.
​
We want to create a campsite tailored to nature, the environment and people where animals, bears, families with children, walkers, cyclists but also marmots, deer, artists, leopards and onlookers are all welcome.
